Get ready for a fun-filled morning at the Doylestown Doughboy 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk, part of the Rogues Hollow Festival in downtown Doylestown, Ohio! Starting and finishing by the iconic Doughboy statue honoring our World War I heroes, it's a day packed with excitement. After the race, enjoy treats and entertainment, plus snag a t-shirt, a Lion's Club donut, and post-race snacks. Winners in each age group of the 5K race take home medals, with special awards for overall champs.  On August 8, the the 5K run begins at 8:00am followed by the1 Mile Walk at 8:10am,  Volunteers will guide you along village and residential streets, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.  High School: We also welcome our High School runners! Our high school students will be running a 2 mile race.  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. Get ready to soar Eagles! The 2025 Dash for Doyle run/walk fundraiser will be held from Friday, September 26th to Sunday, October 5th! During the days leading up to the fun run/walk, the students will learn about the importance of our Doyle Core 4 traits with mini lessons led by our teachers and 6th grade leaders. Students will participate in lessons about being safe, kind, responsible, and respectful. On Friday, October 3rd, students will have the chance to celebrate their efforts and participate in the Fun Run/Walk with their grade level. Each day we will announce the class that has raised the most money and the grade level in the lead, then on Monday, Oct 6th we will announce the class that raised the most donations as the school-wide grand prize winner, along with the leading class for each grade level! To make a donation click the donate button and select the students homeroom teacher. All funds raised from Dash For Doyle go directly back to Doyle Elementary. The money raised will be used for new outdoor benches, enhancements to the gym, field trips, assemblies, library books, classroom advancements and other school improvements.

Maria Middleton Think Hope 5K The Regina Academy at St. John the Baptist is honored to continue the tradition of the Maria Middleton Think Hope 5K. Maria Middleton was a beloved member of our school community, graduating from Regina Academy in 2017. She was the daughter of our founder, Brian Middleton, and to all who knew her, a young woman of remarkable faith, courage, and joy. In 2020, after a 20-month illness journey, Maria’s final written words in her journal were: “Think hope.” Her journal began years earlier with the words, “God is merciful.” These words reflect the way Maria lived her life — with deep trust in God, kindness toward others, and a steady hope even in the midst of suffering. Through her witness, she continues to inspire countless people to live with greater faith, courage, and love. Her kind heart, fierce mind, and brave spirit will continue to inspire each of us until we are reunited together in heaven. The impact of her life was her quiet ability to lead, unite, and inspire people to become better versions of themselves while fostering the love of God. Her spirit has affected the lives of many around the world and will continue to do so through her message of “Think hope.”
