The season kicks off Saturday, March 28, 2026, and we’re rolling out in style on the beautiful Cricket Frog Trail! 📍 Meet‑up: 8:45 AM   🚴 Roll‑out: 9:00 AM sharp   📌 Location: 6185 Turner Lake Rd, Covington, GA Join us for a smooth, social, early‑season ride—perfect for beginners, returning riders, and anyone ready to shake off winter and get those legs spinning again. Let’s make this the start of an amazing season together.

On April 1st at 5pm the inaugural Kenton Rotary 0.5K will be held at Braxton Brewery in Covington. At the 5:30 start time all the participants will walk a half a kilometer (0.5K) around the block. To make sure all our participants have enough energy to make it to the finish line, each one will be given a “special cannoli” from Del Gardo’s. When they cross the finish line everyone will go to The Loft on the second floor where they will be able to get a post-race adult beverage ((21 and up, soft drink for the littles) that is included in the registration.  A special prize will go to the winner of the race.  Is it 1st place?  Last place? Who’s to know? It is April Fool’s Day after all. Participants will receive a t-shirt, wristband for attendance, a drink ticket, and light hors d'oeuvres after the “race”.   Proceeds raise from this event will go towards the Rotary Club of Kenton County’s commitment to send military veterans and guardians to Washington D.C. for a tour of the memorials

Mountain Momma Maternity Support is excited to present the 1st Annual Mother's Day 5k & Fun Run/Walk!  We will be hosting both a 5k (walk or run) and a 1 mile fun run (or walk!). This fun event has something for everyone! The USATF certified course  begins and ends at the Intervale Trail Head of The Jackson River Scenic Trail in Covington, Virginia. The trail follows an old railroad bed of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. The course has a smooth crushed gravel surface and is mostly flat with some light hills. The trail follows its namesake river, winding it's way through small communities, cultivated fields, and small patches of woodland. It isn't uncommon to see wildlife along the way.   WEATHER This is a rain or shine event.  In the case of severely inclement weather, announcements regarding the race status will be made on the website (www.jacksonrivermarathon.com), on Facebook and via local media.  If there is sufficient advanced notice of a severe weather event, notices will also be sent via the email submitted with your registration.   AWARDS All finishers receive a commemorative finisher's medal. RACE START TIME:  9 AM WHERE: Stillwater Prairie Reserve. (9750 SR 185, Covington, Ohio 45318) DIRECTIONS: From Interstate 75 north & south, get off on exit 74, which is St Rt 41, in Troy.  Go west, out of Troy, to Covington.  41 stops at State Route 48. Go north on SR 48 through & out of town, & SR 185 is a few miles out of town. Go west & Stillwater Prairie is a couple of miles down the road on the left.  There are signs. PARKING: After entering the Park Entrance, take the first left toward the Big Bluestem Shelter. Big Bluestem Shelter can be found on the right side of this MAP. WATER: It is recommended that you carry it with you!  There will be an unmanned water station about two miles into each loop.  Because this is a 2 loop course, participants do have the option to set up their own personal mini-aid station along the course to grab a bottle of water, nutrition, etc. before starting their 2nd loop.  If you do this, make sure that you mark/identify your stuff so t

This is a Chip Timed event! Thrive 5K is a community-action event in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, supporting all survivors and taking a stand against violence in the Northern Kentucky and greater Cincinnati area. This will take place on October 3, 2026, this event is designed to bring people together in the spirit of promoting healthy relationships and ending domestic abuse. Participants can expect a fun-filled morning of walking, running, and cheering on others as they complete the 5K course (Race course updated in 2026) in the beautiful Devou Park. With each step, runners and walkers will be making a statement in support of those affected by domestic violence, showing that the community stands with them and is committed to creating a safer, healthier for all. Join survivors, and families and friends as they walk to promote lung cancer awareness or walk in memory of a loved one who harnessed the Power of Pearl during their journey. Enjoy inspirational survivor stories, live music, great food, and countless resources. In our Resource Village medical experts will provide education on lung cancer prevention; screening options to identify lung cancer in its early stages when survival rates are highest; and risk factors and screening options if you or a loved one is at high-risk for lung cancer. The Tammany Turkey Trot takes to the streets of Covington again on Thanksgiving morning. Ready to experience the history of downtown Covington, or show it off to your visiting family and friends? Here’s your chance to #EarnYourTurkey! Athletes will start their Thanksgiving run just north of downtown Covington. From there, both 5K and 5 mile runners will make their way through downtown and into the splendor of moss-covered trees that line the streets. Close to St. Paul’s High School runners will head slightly west before turning north. From there, it’s a return trip for the finish line at the St. Tammany Courthouse! 5 Mile runners will finish their Turkey “tour” with a scenic jaunt further south past more beautiful homes before rejoining with the 5K course and heading north back to downtown. The 1 Mile Fun Run option will start at 7:30am prior to the 5K and 5 Mile Run.
