Includes entrance to fields, scavenger hunt passport for children, playground, and transportation from NASNI to Carlsbad Flower Fields. Does not include tractor wagon rides and butterfly encounters. These activities can be added on site at the Carlsbad Flower FIelds. Bus pick up will be at the NASNI Visitor's Lot at 9:15 am.

Operation Megaphone, also known as "OMP", is an annual worldwide event designed to connect military teens from around the world to discuss key issues that affect military teens, promote communication across all military services, and provide opportunities for teens to give back to their communities. Teen led and adult supported, OMP is a great opportunity for your teens! A fun filled night of games, activities, movies, sports, dinner and more!

Calling all new moms! MWR is hosting a special Baby Shower just for you, packed with fun, support, and great memories. Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet, informational talks, games, a photo keepsake, and a variety of vendors on hand to answer all your baby-related questions and provide helpful tips. Every mom will also receive a baby diaper bag to take home. It’s a day of celebration, learning, and pampering—you deserve it!

Kick off your 4th of July festivities with a 12K (7.4 miles) or 5K (3.1 miles) run, and don’t forget that in 2026 our Crown City Kids Half Mile—open to racers 12 and under—will return to inspire the next generation of runners! HAVE FUN, BE FIT, HELP YOUTH! From July 4th through Labor Day, participants will log the amount of time each selected activity is performed, from a large list of activities available, via a Submit Activity web page -- biking, walking, running, tennis, swimming, and more.   The goals are to enhance physical fitness, build community spirit, have fun, and support the youth of Coronado.  Hours-per-week targets are:  Bronze: 1 hr; Silver: 2 hr; Gold: 3 hr; Diamond: 4 hr.   An awards celebration will be held the Saturday morning after Labor Day, 9AM at Spreckels Park. Coronado’s Liberty Celebration Swim (formerly 4th of July Rough Water Swim) has been an iconic way to celebrate our Nation’s Independence. The swim takes place in beautiful Glorietta Bay Park (Open Water) . The event has a distance for every swimmer and experience level. The venue has iconic back drops of the famous Coronado Bridge. The course is nested in the southwest corner Glorietta Bay Park, with low wave/wake and current impacts, making this race experience fun and competitive for all athletic levels and is a perfect race for swimmers new to the open water scene.  All participants receive a finisher medal, souvenir swim cap and race t-shirt!

Celebrate the 29th Anniversary of the Low Tide Ride & Stride with a our 5K Course during the lowest tide of the month on the beach from North Beach down to the end of the Shores and back. Kick off summer with this fun, family-friendly, 5K chip-timed race. Run! Walk! Bike! Stroll! This Coronado signature event takes place along one of the top 10 beaches in the world and provides much needed funds with Local Military and First Responders being the primary beneficiaries. Drop your beach chair in Sunset Park along with your reusable water bottle.
