Froggy Hollow 5 & 9 presented by Altra

Set in scenic Little Bennett Regional Park, the Froggy Hollow 5 & 9 presented by Altra is a timed trail ultra event with 5-Hour, 5-Hour Relay, 9-Hour, 9-Hour Relay, and "More Than a 4-Miler" options. This trail race offers the perfect setting for new and veteran trail runners to push their limits and achieve their new personal best. All participants will complete the 4.4-mile loop through Little Bennett Regional Park in Clarksburg, MD. We’ll have a fully stocked aid station on the course with a variety of food and hydration options. We hope you will join us for this trail ultra brought to you by Charm City Run Events and Altra! Clarksburg 5k Run, 5k Walk, and Kids Fun Run

On Saturday, April 18, 2026 the 18th annual Clarksburg 5k Run, 5k Walk, and Kids Fun Run, presented by Cedarbrook Community Church, will kick out of the starting gate in what promises to be an exciting and fun filled event.  The day's events will include a 3.1 mile run, 3.1 mile walk and a Kid’s Fun Run. The race ends at a festive area where participants will find prizes, food and beverages, music, and a children’s play area.  More information about the race can be found at the race website – www.clarksburg5k.com.  The Clarksburg 5k will incorporate good old-fashioned family participation with a healthy dose of fun.  Everyone in the Upcounty area can join together to feel good and to do good.  Now in our 18th year, the Clarksburg 5k has become a signature event in upper Montgomery County.  Each year the event supports organizations that provide benefits for our community.

Healthy Kids Running Series Spring 2026 - Clarksburg, MD

Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. 8th Annual One King Sports 5K & Kids Race

Cecil Jarvis Greater Clarksburg 10K

The 2026 Greater Clarksburg 10K is back for its 30th year! We are excited to have everyone back this year and need your help to reach our goal of 500 race participants. Due to the continued renovations going on in Downtown Clarksburg this year, the race will take place at the Veterans Memorial Park again, starting from the baseball fields. Please watch our Facebook page for all updates! We are very excited to give back to our community with your participation in this year's race. Portions of all 10K race entries will be donated to the Mountaineer Food Bank for Harrison County School Students. We will be hosting the 3rd Annual Georgia Hatfield 5K Race in place of the traditional 2 Mile.

Little Bennett Regional Park in Montgomery County, MD is a 3600 acre wooded playground filled with over 20 miles of trails, picturesque streams, and plenty of camping. Bring the family and camp or make the easy trek on race day to this convenient park, located off Interstate 270 only 30 miles West of D.C. The races courses at Little Bennett follow twisty and fun single-track hiking trails. There’s also challenging hills and plenty of stream-side running. You will not be disappointed with these awesome courses and beautiful park setting! Charity partnershipDuring registration, you will have an opportunity to support a local non-profit Interfaith Works.
