All runners must maintain a 16:00/mile. Start & Finish The Start and Finish Line is at the intersection of Decatur Street and Beach Ave in Cape May, NJ.  Packet Pick Up Saturday 5/11 6:30AM to 8:15AM at Carney's on Beach Ave between Jackson and Decatur. Parking Parking is free at all meters around the Start/Finish area until noon. Meters on the Washington Street Mall begin at 10AM.      Awards (each distance): Awards -      1st Place Overall  Male and Female.      2nd Place Overall Male and Female.      3rd Place Overall Male and Female. The Around the Cape Paddle Event benefits the DESATNICK Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed to help those living with Spinal Cord Injury in Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, Ocean and Monmouth Counties, New Jersey.

We are back for our third annual Behr Brewing 5K!  As always, the run will start and finish at Behr Brewing and the route will be on the lovely Cold Spring Bike Path.  The route can be found here.  Stay for the after-party at Behr featuring a beer included for all runners, a unique swag package, instant results and post-race photos, and other entertainment.  There will also be water on the course and food for purchase at a food truck.   Registration is now open at $35 for adults and $15 for kids 13 and under.  We are also offering Referral Rewards which means if you sign up and refer 3 friends to sign up, your registration fee will be completely refunded! Packet pick-up and day-of registration opens on June 28th at 10am and the 5K begins at 11am.   We look forward to celebrating the summer with you!

Packet Pick Up Packet pick up will be Friday September 25th from 4pm to 8pm at Behr Brewing (highly suggested to pick up on Friday ).  Saturday morning pick up will be from 7:00am to 8:30am at 238 Beach Ave, Cape May (Lifeguard Headquarters). Epic Coast Guard views and fun family racing.  Awards to the top 3 M/f Overall and Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, and 10 year AG up to 60+. Race Shirts are guaranteed to those registered by September 30 (limited supply after) and all finishers receive a commemorative Always Ready Challenge Coin.   ALWAYS READY K9 RACE This 3K run/walk option is open to four-legged friends accompanied by 2 legged guides. Dogs must be leashed on no longer than a 6ft lead and able to maintain a calm disposition for the entirety of the event. The K9 race will start 5 minutes after the 5K. This race is brought to you by our partners at Lead the Way Dog Training.  Each finisher will receive a Lead the Way K9 Champion Medal and an Always Ready K9 dog pin. VIRTUAL RACES Virtual 5K and K9 runners will have the entire month of October to complete their best time and will receive the same swag as the corresponding live event. Virtual packets will not be mailed out until after the in-person race on 10/11.

5K - October 24 2026 race starts at 7:30am. 13.1 & Relay - October 24 2026 race starts at 7:30 AM. Course Cut-Off Times Runners will need to pass the halfway point by 1:45:00 and finish by 3:30:00 (16:01/mile). This is a hard cut off time - runners who do not make it will be picked up by an official race vehicle.
