We're back with The 2026 Cereal City Triathlon & Duathlon!  This is a sprint triathlon/duathlon that showcases the City of Battle Creek and its amenities. Willard Beach Park will be the site for this high quality multi sport event. There is a sprint distance triathlon and a sprint distance duathlon. Relay teams of all types are also encouraged to participate. Swim 500 meters, Bike 12.4 miles (20K), Run 3.1 miles (5K). This is one of the best courses around for a sprint distance triathlon, duathlon, or relay. This year the Cereal City Triathlon & Duathlon is offering both 2 and 3-person relays. Each team member will be able to register and pay individually as well, so no need to worry about who is footing the bill! Grab your fastest friends, your swim team teammates, and your cycling pals and put together a winning relay team! One mile run for 2nd - 5th graders across practice fields and woods on the Harper Creek campus. The terrain consists of grass, dirt trails, and includes a few small hills.  The top 15 finishers will receive a medal.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!  Alive and Running VA 5K has a LIVE AND VIRTUAL for 2026 We are glad to announce that we are having a LIVE and VIRTUAL race for 2026.  Participants have the option to run the LIVE event on the VA location or stay at home and run/walk your event with VIRTUAL options. Virtual Event With a virtual race you can run the 5K distance anywhere, in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, at a nearby park. You will have between Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, October 3rd to complete your 5K. Once you have the 5K completed you will enter your time in the Run Sign-up website. If you participate in the virtual event you will still receive a race t-shirt!  We will plan for drive through packet pickup on Friday September 11 between 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm and Saturday September 12 from 7:00 am-9:00 am at the entrance to the VA, as we have done in years past.  Thank you all for your understanding as we take things one day at a time.  We must take care of each other now, more than ever.
