5th Annual Shenandoah Neighborhood Bike Ride

Come out to our Family Friendly Neighborhood bike ride benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Site opens @ 8:00 am … Ride starts promptly at 9 Am. YMCA Corporate Cup 5K Run/Walk

The YMCA Corporate Cup 5K Run 300 S. River Rd., Baton Rouge, LA 70802 The YMCA Corporate Cup, which is the former Providence Corporate Cup, is a 5K run/walk with a new route this year.  It will be held near Downtown Baton Rouge across from the Cane’s River Center on S. River Road.   It advocates wellness in the workplace and camaraderie among colleagues.   Race headquarters and Post-race party will be located on the Riverfront Plaza across from the River Center. YMCA Corporate Cup 5K Run/Walk - Tents & Spaces Rentals, Sponsorships & Cook-Off Challenge

Tent Rental Package Includes:  Includes tent, space, tables, & chairs. Tent rental includes setup and breakdown of equipment and use of two (2) tables and twelve (12) chairs. Additional tables and chairs are available for rental if needed. All rentals, both space and tent, will be handled on a "first come, first served" basis. Fat Boy 5K

Often imitated, but never duplicated. The Fat Boy 5k is now in cities across America (Vegas, New Orleans, and more)!  The ORIGINAL Fat Boy knows how to throw a 5k party. Join us early Saturday morning for some pre-race donuts and chocolate milk, and after the race for Manda sausage po-boys, Mockler beverages, Moon Pies, and Coca-Cola products.  Chocolate Easter Bunnies for the winners. Enter as a skinny runner, or man up to the Clydesdale division (Athena for ladies), or bring your friends and compete in the team competition. The Our Lady of the Lake Tiger 10K is a partnership between LSU Athletics and FRESHJUNKIE Racing that brings the tradition of LSU Football and Tiger Stadium into a fun, festive road race event that includes a 5K and a Kids 1 Mile Race (ages 12 and under).  The goal of the event is to give the entire LSU community: fans, students, alumni, faculty and staff, no matter age or ability, an opportunity to complete their journey in Tiger Stadium.  Participants get to make their mark on the hallowed ground where so many have left theirs.  A festive post race party with live music, cold beer and good food is being planned to celebrate everyone's accomplishment.

Swimming, biking, and running, oh my!  Rocketkidz Rookies Triathlon is an event specially designed to introduce children ages 3-10 to the sport of triathlon.   3-4 yr olds: swim 15 yds, bike 1/4 mile, run 100 yds. ONE parent may accompany the child on the course.  5-6 yr olds: swim 25 yds, bike 1/2 mile, run 1/4 mile. 7-10 yr olds: swim 25 yds, bike 1 mile, run 1/2 mile.    Training wheels are acceptable for all ages. Please ensure your child's bike is in good working order prior to the event.  We've got non-swimmer divisions where a child can use flotation devices

Triathlon Course includes a 100m pool swim, followed by a 12 mile bike route on River Road, and finishing with a 2 mile run through the Pointe Marie development.  The Duathlon starts with the 1 mile run, then the same 12 mile bike as the Triathlon, with a final 2 mile run. Welcome to Chix/Kidz triathlon weekend.  We are excited about for our 4th year at Pointe Marie.  We will have chip timing m.  Results will be for start/finish and will not include splits but will allow for us to determine awards for each division. We will award 1st/2nd/3rd Male and Female for Falcons, Sputniks, Apollo, and Saturn.  We use AGE ON RACE DAY TO DETERMINE DIVISIONS. Additionally, if your child is in a "Beginner division" 10 minutes will be added to their time to determine eligibility for awards in their division.   Beginner divisions are for racers that require the assistance of a parent and/or flotation devices and/or training wheels.  Kidz is for racers ages 3-14 yrs old (based on their age on RACE DAY). Your child's age tells you what division they race in (Falcon/Sputnik/Apollo/Saturn) and their division tells you how far they have to go to complete each leg of the race.
