Easter is coming up! Reyes Running Series is proudly presenting the 1st Annual Easter Fun Run 5k AND 2 MILE SPEED WALK! We provide participants with a choice of running the 5K or 2 mile walk!  Great family, friendly, fun event for the whole family! Event will take place at YOKUTS PARK IN BAKERSFIELD,  where all runners will have the opportunity to participate in the EGG HUNTING activity where 10 of those eggs will have a FREE ENTRY for any of our future events!! We are excited to announce Autism on the Run. On April 11th, 2026 at the Park at Riverwalk in Bakersfield, California.  We will have a 10k, 5k, 2k, and family walk.   Pricing is $45 a person for 10k, 5k, 2k and includes a shirt and medal Pricing for Family is $160 and includes 5 medals and 1 swag bag, (no shirts are included with this discount)    April is Autism Awareness Month. Autism refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech, and nonverbal communication.   This event benefits H.E.A.R.T.S. Come out and Run for Wellness on a beautiful Saturday at Hart Park. Run, walk, or crawl, everyone is welcome. Choose between 5k or the 1 mile. This event is open to the public but has special pricing for Kern High School District Staff and immediate family. (Please sign up by 4/6 to be guaranteed a t-shirt!) Medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each age group per gender for the 5k. We look forward to seeing you and your family for this fun event! Come join us for our 5th annual 5k fun run on Saturday, April 18th! Event held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. “Running for Faith to Build our Future” is a Fun Run 5k hosted by the MOMS at SEAS ministry of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church benefiting the church’s Building Fund. Enjoy an 8am 5K run start time leaving from the church, followed by a pancake breakfast hosted by the Knights of Columbus and LMF on the church’s back patio. **Bringing it back: Raffle baskets during breakfast! April 18th will be a day to involve the whole family in supporting the future of our church! Let's get our church built! **A pancake breakfast can also be purchased separately at Masses, or on the day of the event. All adult participants registered by March 16, 2026 will be guaranteed an Event T-shirt. Remember all proceeds go to the Building Fund!

Ride the River is a fun community bike ride for people of all ages. With distances of  20, 10, and 5 miles there is an event for every ability level. Flat tires? Squeaky brakes? Bike Bakersfield will be on hand to fix up your jalopy!  Parking for the event will be in the Finish Line parking lot with overflow parking available at CSUB parking lot J.  There will be music, vendors, and food. All proceeds benefit Bring Back the Kern.

Join this family-friendly 5K and run through Bakersfield Breakfast Rotary’s annual Thousand Flags Memorial Day weekend display. This awe-inspiring annual event showcases over 1,000 American flags on display at The Park at River Walk to honor those we have lost. There will be a 5K course and a one-mile memorial walk. The 5K course winds its way through the scenic flag adorned park and down the multi-use trail adjacent to the park, and is suitable for both runners and walkers. Proceeds will support the Thousand Flags event and other Bakersfield Breakfast Rotary community projects. The events will be timed and awards will be given for the top three 5K finishers in each category. Register by May 3rd, 2026 to ensure you receive a Thousand Flags T-shirt. All veterans participating in the event will be recognized with a complimentary Thousand Flags pin.

We will be hosting our 8th Annual Bakersfield Jingle Bell Run for Toys for Tots! The Jingle Bell Run will feature a Christmas designed Sweatshirts and Jingle Bells to all registered participants.
