This special race honors the legacy of Coach Ed Levy, a highly respected educator, administrator, and Track & Field coach. Despite being unable to run due to a childhood illness, Coach Ed Levy dedicated his life to coaching and empowering athletes—especially women and immigrant athletes—to reach their full potential. From 1991 until his passing in 2001, he served as the head coach of the New York Pioneer Club, shaping the lives of countless runners through his leadership and passion for the sport. This event is more than a race—it's a celebration of resilience, inclusion, and the transformative power of sports. Whether you're a seasoned runner or joining for a fun walk, come be part of this meaningful tradition! Lace up your shoes, bring your family and friends, and let's run for a healthier future!

What is Good Samaritan? Good Samaritan is a volunteer organization based in Forsyth County. Our mission is to help families and individuals in our local community who need immediate assistance to get through dire circumstances.  We provide short-term financial assistance and provide referrals for longer-term counseling and other services.  All funds we raise go directly to help those in need. We do not maintain offices or other administrative overhead, such as a Website or Social Media. This ensures that every dollar we raise goes directly to Forsyth Coun

Chip in for brain tumors! Created in 2023 by Dr. Jay McCracken and the SBTF, the SBTF Golf Invitational event has become a signature event for the Foundation. Held at prestigious courses such as Reynolds Lake Oconee, The River Club and The Golf Club of Georgia, this event allows our participants the opportunity to play exclusive private courses while supporting a great cause! The event includes a round of golf, cart, lunch, beverages, player gift and a post-play reception. The reception features a DJ, silent auction and raffle with full menu and bar. The SBTF Golf Invitational features activations such as a beat-the-lady-pro hole, hit-a-bottle win-a-bottle putting contest, longest drive and closest to the pin. The event is a four-man scramble format. In a scramble all the players on the team tee off. The team selects the best shot and the other players pick up their balls and everyone on the team plays within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the best tee shot. After everyone

She runs for….She Runs is an all-women's 5k along the scenic Chattahoochee River that celebrates every woman’s “why.” Join us on Saturday June 13th for a morning of encouragement and fun as we run, walk, jog together as women with a “why.” A post-race celebration you won't want to miss and awesome finisher's medals for everyone!

Start your Independence Day off with our 5k, 10k, or 1k Fun Run!  Join us for our Freedom Run on July 4th race at Halcyon! This is a family-friendly event and all of our events are walker-friendly! Virtual options are also available.   We have added a No Shirt/No Medal option for the 5K and 10K events at a reduced cost. Those who sign up for this reduced-price event will NOT receive a shirt or finisher medal. This option is available for those who want to race in person but missed the opportunity to sign up for this event earlier. Participants who qualify WILL BE eligible to receive overall or age group awards. Race Benefactor:  One hundred percent of the donations made through this website will go directly to Ainsley’s Angels of America in North Georgia. Ansley's Angels pair able-bodied runners and walkers to push Special Needs kids and adults in races from 5Ks to Marathons.
