UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine SAVMA Wags for Wellness 5k 2026

Sunday May 3rd at UW Madison Lakeshore Path EVENT DESCRIPTION You are invited to participate in the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine SAVMA's Run/Walk 5k to raise awareness regarding wellness and mental well-being for veterinary students and professionals.   Dogs are welcome to participate in the race as well. *Completion of a waiver and submission of up to date vaccination documentation (Rabies and Distemper) are required for participation* EVENT LOGISTICS: Check-In Time: 8:00 AM - 8:45 AMRace Start Time: 9:00 AM PARKING: Lot 60 near the boat launch. Parking is free on the weekends. ***IF THERE IS RAIN OR SNOW DURING THE EVENT, THE RACE WILL STILL BE HELD*** Registered participants will receive a T-shirt and a grab bag. Raffle prizes and a breakfast will occur post race.  T-shirts aren't guaranteed after April 3rd registration.  The registration fee increases for day of registration so be sure to purchase tickets early!
