Race Details Join us on Saturday, November 14, 2026, for the 4th Annual UAB Veterans Day 5K presented by Viva Health at Railroad Park — a community event dedicated to honoring those who have served and supporting the next generation of military-connected students. Since launching in 2023, this event has grown into one of Birmingham's most meaningful Veterans Day traditions. Last year alone, more than 1,100 participants and 100 volunteers showed up to make a difference and because of this community's support, we've granted over $22,000 in emergency funding to military-connected students since 2023, helping cover housing insecurity, unexpected expenses, and the everyday costs of earning a degree. This year, we're continuing that mission with even greater purpose, and we want you to be part of it.
