Annual running of the… “The Great Locomotive Chase 5K” Presented by The City of Adairsville!   Saturday morning – April 11, 2026  – 8:00 AM Race Start!  Enjoy this one-of-a-kind route that winds through and around lovely downtown Adairsville, GA and Follows the Tracks where  the actual Chase took place!!!  The 5K start and finish are adjacent to the historic Downtown Adairsville Train Depot, Where the Great Locomotive Chase passed through on April 12th, 1862!!  164 Years ago!
