Thanksgiving XC Classic 5K & 1.5 M Fun Run

Work up an appetite on Thanksgiving morning at Reid Park! The Thanksgiving XC Classic offers a European style cross country course with hay bales on grass, dirt, and a little asphalt. The 5K has separate races for women and men. If you run in the opposite gendered race, your results may take up to 48 hours to post and you are not eligible for awards. The 5K course will be two loops and the 1.5 Mile course will be one loop. Course starts near Ramada #10 at the southwest corner of Reid Park at 22nd Street and Country Club Road. Strollers are welcome, though the course is hilly and mostly on grass and dirt. Lanes are provided for strollers to bypass the hay bales. Please no dogs for their safety as well as the safety of all participants. The 5K is part of The Running Shop SAR Grand Prix. Cotton T-Shirts offered in unisex, women's and youth options.
