Sybil Ludington 50K Race and Relay

The Sybil Ludington 50K running race is back to celebrate 250 YEARS OF REVOLUTIONARY PEOPLE & PLACES brought to you by Putnam County and the Taconic Road Runners. This will be the 42nd running, held annually through 2019. This is a special year for the country and next year is a special for Sybil-the 250th anniversary of her ride. Sadly, race organizer for many years and co-director wtih Tony Galfano, David Farquhar passed away on December 23rd, 2025. He was looking forward to the return of the race. You can read his obituary here. You can see the course HERE. It will be a Sunday and will start at 7AM.  We are going back to the original course, which covers 31 of Sybil's 40 miles. We will have a slightly different start.  There will be a relay for 2 runners. The fun part is you can choose how often to swap, from quarter miles, to 15K straight per person.
