Sundown Rundown - Fifth Street Cross Edition

Sundown Rundown isn’t just a race—it’s an ultra that forgot the slow part. Course Design: 1.6 miles or 2.8km lap distances. Each course varies, but the distance is intentional to make pacing more challenging. This is a short-course backyard-style race with an elimination built into the start times. Scoring The winner is the last runner to complete a lap before that lap's cutoff — and the cutoff gets faster every lap. You can choose to sit out the next lap to protect your position instead of risking the cutoff, but that choice is final; there's no re-entry. If nobody completes another lap, the win goes to whoever was ahead on the last lap more than one runner finished together.
