StarKid 5K

Join us for the 20th Annual StarKid 5K and Family Fun Run on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Fairfax Corner Shopping Center! It's a fun-filled morning of fitness, music, and community. All ages are welcome to run, jog, walk, or cheer on participants—strollers and pets included! You can even create or join a team for some friendly competition. Since 2006, the StarKid 5K has supported Inova Children’s. Originally supporting the Pediatric Heart Program, proceeds now benefit pediatric services across Inova Health System, with this year’s funds supporting the Joe Cassella Pediatric Patient and Family Support Fund! The Joe Cassella Pediatric Patient and Family Support Fund provides critical financial assistance to families facing childhood illness or injury—covering needs such as medical bills, utilities, transportation, respite care, and more. 100% funded by philanthropy, this fund helps families focus on what matters most: healing—while honoring the compassionate legacy of Joe Cassella.
