Smelter City Scamper

The Smelter City Scamper is a locally hosted race that supports food access and community health in Anaconda. Led by the Anaconda Community Market, the Scamper welcomes runners, walkers, families, and longtime locals alike. A hometown race with lots of heart!  Whether you’re lining up for the half marathon, jogging the 5K with friends, or watching kids sprint their hearts out for one block, this race is about showing up, for yourself and for your community. Race Events:All races start and finish at Kennedy Commons. Half Marathon - 7:30am10K - 8:00am 5K - 8:30am Kids Sprint (1 block, ages 8 & under – free) - 10:30am Why We RunThe Smelter City Scamper is a fundraiser that supports the Anaconda Community Market and local food access programs. Proceeds stay in the community, helping strengthen local food systems and the health and wellness of the community. A Little Extra FunThe Scamper takes place during Smeltermen’s Day weekend, so make a weekend out of it as there's plenty to do
