WHAT IS THE VIRTUAL EVENT? A Virtual Event can be ANYTHING YOU WANT IT TO BE -something Physical done ANYWHERE or ANYTIME during the month of October It can be done in your neighborhood, at your favorite local trail or park, at your office during quick lunch breaks, or wherever you feel safe and motivated to complete your eventSome examples of virtual participation include jogging, running, dancing, skating, biking, paddle boarding, yoga, Tai Chi, etc.SHOW US YOUR PINK during your Virtual and In-person walk. Upload pictures to your social media and tag our Sisters at Heart Facebook page WHAT IS THE IN-PERSON WALK? This In-Person Walk features a gathering of friends and family walking together to bring awareness to breast cancerThe walk will begin on October 24th at the Pavilion on the Village GreenRegistration starts at 8:30 am Following a fitness warmup, the walk will begin on the Village Green, then proceed to the Waterfront Boardwalk, and will end back at the Village GreenThis is a 2-5k walk **EARLY REGISTRATION starts September 1, 2026. IN PERSON REGISTRATION @ Village Green Indian Head Oct. 24, 2026 @ 8:30 am Registration Fee is $40 / person whether you participate Virtually or In person** There is NO EXCUSE not to participate with us Virtually or In Person to support the men and women in the Southern Maryland Tri-County area who are affected by breast cancer.
