SHS XC Glow The Distance

Join us for the SHS XC “Glow the Distance” Fun Run on June 13, 2026! This is an evening rundesigned by two of the junior class athletes of Shenango’s Cross Country team. This run is topromote a healthy lifestyle, community bonding, and the love of our township. The run iscomparable to a 5K, but will be a fun path of our township, highlighting our high school and ourtownship park. Glow the Distance will first include a Kids Run, which will be open to childrenages 10 and under. Every participant in this race will win a medal upon completion of the run!Along with the children, there will be 7 additional age categories (11-15, 16-19, 20-30, 31-40,41-50, 51-60, 61+) that will run as one group, but will be broken into these groupings for the top3 runners of each age category to earn medals. This will encourage friendly competition andbonding within the community, and it will give people the opportunity to get moving outsideduring the summer! *Participant receives all risk for the course*
