Sam-a-Palooza Family Walk & Run

In August of 2022, we lost Sam Scherer to an aggressive form of cancer called cholangiocarcinoma. Sam's endless positive energy and appreciation for life shined bright throughout his time with us. He loved his family, friends and community. His boisterous laugh and passion for fun were evident with every step of his so-called "thunderous calves". He loved bringing people together and we are thrilled to honor him with this second annual Family Walk & Runv .This no pressure, family friendly event is for all ages. Strollers, wagons and carriers are welcome and encouraged. Whether you intend to make it one lap (.6 mi) or the full 5 (3.1 mi aka 5K) around Shrewsbury's Wehner park, the end goal is to come together for a day of fun and fitness. Any and all participation is encouraged.
