Rushville Mayor's 5K

Thank you for your interest in the City of Rushville Mayor’s 5K Run/Walk with this year’s proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Rush County.  Every day in our state, 161,613 kids go home alone and are unsupervised between the hours of 3 and 6 p.m.  With no adult guidance, these kids are at risk of being unsafe.  Each day at the Boys & Girls Club of Rush County, more than 200 local kids walk through the doors.  We fill the gap between school and home.  We provide a welcoming, positive environment in which kids and teens have fun, participate in life-changing programs, and build supportive relationships with peers and caring adults.  Our programming is focused on promoting the priority outcomes of academic success, life & workforce readiness, good character & leadership, and healthy lifestyles.  The Boys & Girls Club of Rush County serves more than 70% of school age children in Rush County.  A gift to the Club supports our programs before- and after-school, on
