Run Recover Rise 5k

Join us for the First Annual Run Recover Rise 5k located in Spruce Creek Park on Glenthorne Loop! This out-and-back run starts at the park entrance and follows the paved path toward Rockfish Valley Highway. Located at the base of the mountains, runners will wind through trees and open fields, getting the best views of the beautiful Nelson County! This is the perfect event for experienced runners, new runners, or those wanting to support the community and get in some steps. Each registrant will receive a race t-shirt.  Additional shirts will be available for purchase the day of the event. To ensure you receive your preferred size shirt, please register before April 5th. Those registering after April 5th cannot be guaranteed their preferred size.  Registration closes April 19, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Price will increase to $40 after March 27th. $50.00 day-of registration is available on site, but only checks will be accepted. Student Discount available when registering.  Awards will be provide
