1Indigenous-led Adventure Rides Make Cycling Accessible on The Gila River Indian Community. The ride goes through portions of the Gila River Indian Community home of the Akimel O’otham (Pima) and Pee-Posh (Maricopa) tribes. This is a group adventure ride, not a race and we will average around 10 miles per hour so pack a lunch and expect an all-day adventure if you are riding the 60 Mile Big Rez Gravel Route on January 10th. If you can’t commit to the entire day you should choose the 25 Mile Little Rez Gravel Route on January 9th. We will have to stay together because most of the Rez Gravel routes are closed to the public and require a Gila River tribal member to be with non-tribal members. There are two fee options for each ride Little Rez Gravel $50 or $100 (Includes Dinner on Jan 9th) and Big Rez Gravel $100 or $200 (Includes Dinner on Jan 9th) . Funds raised will help Rez Gravel to continue the work helping residents of the Gila River Indian Community learn how to do bicycle repair
