Providence Rhode Races

Join us in the Creative Capital for this historic marathon, half marathon and 5k.  Providence Rhode Races winds through 4 of Rhode Island's famous communities, providing runners with a truly unique RI experience.  Enjoy historic neighborhoods, treelined streets, sweeping coastal views, and working waterfronts.   The Marathon will start at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Bold Point Park, East Providence, RI. The Half Marathon will start at 8:00 a.m. from the same location.  The RI 250th Anniversary 5k will follow at 8:15 am - all from the same cityside start.  *New for 2026 - The Kids Fun Run is BACK!  The Kids' Fun Run will start and finish at the same Bold Point Park location, directly following the 5k start.  It is a one-kilometer course, and limited to children under 10.  No strollers are allowed.  One parent is allowed to run with their child but must also be registered.  All children who finish will receive a participation medal.  The marathon course is USATF certified a
