Pounding the Pavement for Pink Races

Join us for our annual 5k Road Race through the streets of Seymour, Connecticut as we Pound the Pavement to fight breast cancer. In 2012, Seymour Tradition, a nonprofit organization in our town whose focus is on teaching young girls the values of sportsmanship, teamwork and discipline, asked Seymour Pink, Inc. if we would co-host a 5K race. Seymour Pink was so excited about the offer to partner up with this fine organization. We held a naming contest in town and the 5K race Pounding the Pavement for Pink was born! In our first year, both of these non-profit organizations realized a total of $24,000. These monies have helped both Seymour Pink and Seymour Tradition advance our missions. Now, we enter our 15th running of the Pounding the Pavement for Pink 5k.  This event alone has contributed over $1.5M towards Seymour Pink's mission.   Join us in Seymour We take the streets, lined with pink lines, spectators and decorations the first Saturday in October each year.
