Pointe Coupee Special Needs Field Day

The Pointe Coupee Parish School Athletic Department is excited to announce that the inaugural Pointe Coupee Special Needs Field Day will be held on Thursday, March 19 at the Patrick Green Track & Field Stadium. Events are scheduled by grade group: Head Start through 6th grade will participate from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and 7th through 12th grade will participate from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. This event is open to students with special needs who are enrolled in the Pointe Coupee Parish Public School System, from Head Start through 12th grade. If you are unsure whether your child is eligible to participate, please contact your child’s special-needs teacher for confirmation. Participation is free for all eligible students. Every participant will receive a participation ribbon, and lunch will be provided for athletes and attendees.
