Oldham County Sprint Triathlon

Oldham County Parks and Recreation will be hosting its 23rd annual, USAT sanctioned Sprint Triathlon at Wendell Moore Park on Saturday, August 29, 2026.  This is a great race for every level of triathlete. Participants must be 16 & over. Swimming leg, 400 meters, is a time start, every 15 seconds, in the John W. Black Aquatic Center 25 meter pool. Bike course, 10 miles, on the Oldham County roads (non closed) with police at the major intersections. Bike course is a hilly course. Run leg, 2 Miles, is on the park grounds includes an asphalt trail with a few grass sections. All triathletes receive a finish metal at the finish line. Awards ceremony follows the race with free pizza. Awards will be given to the following: Overall Female, Overall Male and the top two finishers in a variety of age groups. All triathletes will receive a ticket for a chance to win one of several door prizes during the awards ceremony. The race costs $75.00 per individual. All Non-USAT members must add an add
