Mimi's Heartbeat For Hope 5K Run/ 1 Mile Walk

June of the year of 2020, Jaime Sherrick known as our Mimi was diagnosed with Stage Four Glioblastoma which is a form of Brain Cancer. In the face of Stage Four Glioblastoma, hope, faith, and strength become beacons of light guiding both Mimi and our family through the challenging journey ahead.    Mimi was full of life. Her beauty and kindness shined from the inside to the out. She loved people for who they were. She was caring, compassionate, a devoted mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Mimi truly had a gift to connect with people, understand them, and make them feel so special. This gift came from her faith and love for the Lord. She was the glue that held our family together, her smile lit up any room she walked into.    Mimi had undergone a total of three invasive surgeries as well as many rounds of Chemotherapy, Avastin, Radiation, and was involved in a Clinical Trial over the duration of just about three years.
