Madison Marathon

The Madison Marathon is a high-altitude gravel test that tracks the famous Gravelly Range Road, putting racers in position to gawk at incredible geology like Black Butte and wildlife like Pronghorn and Mule Deer. The inaugural year was 2008, and we are still wowing registrants. The course never drops below 8,300 feet, yet peaks at Monument Ridge – over 9,500 feet above sea level. Choose the “half” if you just want to get acclimated your first year.
