KONA 2.4 MILE SWIM

Swim the famous Kailua Bay 2.4 ocean swim course.  During the swim you'll definitely see some sea life.  Dolphins, eagle rays and sometimes a manta ray are all possibilities and you'll definitely see lots of different fish.  Proceeds from this year's event will be donated to Hawaiian Swimming to help fund top Hawaiian Swimming athletes particpation in the May 2026 Oceania Swim Meet being held in Fiji.  The top Hawaiian Swimming male and female swimmers in this race will qualify to represent Hawaii in the open water swimming competition at the Oceania competition. CONDITIONS UPDATE: As many of you know, a major storm recently impacted Hawaiʻi, particularly the Kailua-Kona area. As a result, all beaches on the west side of the Big Island are currently closed due to brown water advisories issued by the Department of Health.
