Every Step Matters Join the Peer Recovery Center of Addison County for the 2nd Annual Hope in Motion, a community event dedicated to celebrating recovery, promoting wellness, and bringing people together through movement, connection, and hope. Whether you're an experienced runner, a casual walker, or participating with your family, Hope in Motion is an opportunity to make a difference while enjoying a fun-filled day with the Addison County community. Participants can choose between a Timed 1K and 5K Run/Walk, with both races welcoming participants of all ages and abilities. Awards will be presented in Men’s, Women’s, and Open divisions. Participants may select the division in which they wish to compete. Beyond the races, attendees will enjoy a full morning of community activities, including: Live music Food trucks Community Resource Fair featuring local organizations, recovery resources, and wellness professionals Taekwondo demonstrations Family-friendly activities Door prizes and giveaways Event Details Date: Sunday, September 27, 2026 Location: 55 Collins Drive, Middlebury, VT Bib Pick-Up: 8:00 AM Timed 1K Run/Walk: 9:00 AM Timed 5K Run/Walk: 9:45 AM All proceeds support the Peer Recovery Center of Addison County, helping provide free, confidential peer recovery support, community education, outreach, and recovery services for individuals and families throughout Addison County. Whether you run, walk, volunteer, or cheer from the sidelines, your participation helps reduce stigma, strengthen our community, and remind everyone that every step matters.
