Heart and Soul 5k

This fun and inspiring race benefits Ainsley's Angels Michigan and Livingston County Special Olympics.  This super flat, paved course is great for runners, walkers and wheeled athletes.  The course will cover the Howell High School campus with a start and finish on the track/football field.   The mission of Special Olympics Michigan is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics has an ongoing need to raise funds for rental fees at practice facilities, uniforms and to attend games/tournaments.  Ainsley’s Angels celebrates everyone’s ability by pairing runners with riders. Together, the team works to safely accomplish local road races, while having fun. The Angel Athlete-rider is the core of the team and pulls the runner across the finish line with smiles, cheers and immeasurable inspirational spirit.
