Hayward Musky-Fest

Event DescriptionThe Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce is happy to invite you to join them for another Musky Fest 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run! This is a locally sponsored event starting at 8:30 am. Also, don't miss out on the FREE Minnow Run on Main Street & 3rd for all kids 12 years and under starting at immediately following the 5K/10K at approximately 9:45/10:00am! The 76th annual Musky Festival is Hayward's largest community festival celebrating Wisconsin's Northwoods and our great fishing tradition. The weekend includes the crowning of our Musky Festival Queen, sidewalk sales, large handmade art and craft show, live music, children's games, a car show, mouth-watering food booths, 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run as well as a Minnow Run for those 12 and younger, catch and release fishing contest, fishing photo contest, a carnival and large street dances featuring Midwest known music groups on Friday and Saturday nights, and so much more!
