Hal Canfield Memorial Mile

Date, Time, & Place:  Saturday April 18, 12:00pm, Tom Black Track Course Description and Highlights:  We are super excited to showcase the Hal Canfield Memorial Mile during the Volunteer Track Classic! Pursue your PR with us in 2026! Proceeds from this race go to the Hal Canfield Endowment Scholarship fund. Scholarships are distributed each year to local graduating high school athletes for college tuition to honor KTC Founder Hal Canfield. Registration & Entry Fee (NO REFUNDS and NO TRANSFERS): $15. There is no race day registration.  Race Day Schedule: 11:00 AM - Check-in begins at Tom Black Track~ 12:15 PM - Women's Mile Heats~ 12:35 PM-  Men's Mile Heats1:15 PM - Awards Awards: Race Day Awards to the top 10 male/female in each category:OpenMastersGrandmasters(Please note this is different from the normal KTC race award structure)  KTC Grand Prix Points are calculated using the Grand Prix scoring system using normal overall and age group finishes as defined here Grand
