Great Island Adventure Triathlons

Whether you want to swim or kayak, we have the sprint-distance race for you. Both races start at 8 am Saturday, June 27th. The swimmers start 750m upstream and the kayakers start in the river at the transition area. After the 750m downstream swim or the 5k kayak loop, racers will ride a 10.6 mile bike course followed by a 5k run. We have one, central transition area at the Lockport Boat Launch--a truly beautiful spot for family and friends to cheer you on! In addition to deciding if you will race the swim tri or the adventure tri, when registering, you must decide if you want to race individually or with a relay team. The system is set up so that each relay team member will register separately, but using the same team name. Once your first team member registers, the others will find the team name on the dropdown menu of existing team names.
