Grand Ledge Education Foundation Comet Chase 5K

The Grand Ledge Education Foundation Comet Chase 5k will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 in Grand Ledge, Michigan. All events begin and end at the Brandt-Spalsbury Track & Field Facility (1211 Lohne Dr. Grand Ledge, MI 48837).   A 1 mile run for youth 13 & under starts at 8:00 AM and a 400m Kids Race begins at 8:30 AM.  Both events will take place on the track.  The 5k race begins at 8:45 AM on the track  and travels a well marked course through town before finishing on the track.  All proceeds go to benefit the Grand Ledge Education Foundation a 501(c)3 organization that works to provide extra funding for special projects within the Grand Ledge Public Schools classrooms. Pricing: 5k in person - $35 until 5/30/26 then $45. The Virtual 5k - $40 until 5/30/26 then $50. 1 mile kids race and 400 yd dash kids race - $20 until 5/30/26 then $25.  5K Groupings: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ Awards &amp
