Grady's Superhero Run

2026 T-Shirt Reveal Coming Soon!!!  Grady’s Superhero Run, is a family-friendly 5k and kid’s fun run plus new this year virtual run option.  The in person run will be followed with a bounce house, kids’ games, prize giveaways and a DJ. The in-person event will be hosted in Dorchester, IA in the Knotty Marie's yard, where entertainment and a light meal will be served (free will donation).  Location: Dorchester IA, starting in front of Knotty Marie's on Waterloo Creek Dr.  The fun run will head west on Waterloo Creek Drive approximately 1.5 miles and loop back to the starting spot. Purpose: This is a memorial run for Grady Lundgren-Hammel.  Grady was an ambitious, loving, energetic boy.  He loved agriculture, he loved Dorchester.  Grady was diagnosed with a rare NUT Protein Carcinoma and fought hard with the help of his family and community for 13 courageous months.
