Full Moon 5K Trail Run/Walk

Welcome to the first year of the Full Moon 5K Trail Run/Walk at Brandywine Creek State Park! The trails of Brandywine Creek State Park are waiting for you! Come on over, enjoy the trails, and watch the moonrise of the Flower Moon at the top of Hawk Hill after you cross the finish line. This event is a fundraising event for three groups: The Friends of Brandywine Creek State Park, GRIT: Girls Really Into Trails, and the Delaware Interscholastic Cycling League.  Moonrise will be at ~8:20PM and we encourage everyone to bring a chair so you can stick around, enjoy the music, lawn games, s'mores, snacks, and a drink at the top of Hawk Hill. (Adult beverages available for for those 21+). S'mores and lawn games are free for everyone, participating runners and families alike.  Sunset will be at ~7:57PM.
