Frostbite Four

RACE DATE: FEBRUARY 13, 2027 RACE TIME: 11:00AM Beresford's Frostbite Four Mid-Winter Classic - South Dakota's Premier Winter Road Race. This year's event will benefit the Beresford Athletic Booster Club and other worthwhile causes in the Beresford community. Packet pick-up will be at the Beresford High School prior to the race on Saturday morning starting at 8:00am and ending 30 mins before race time. REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Save $10 by registering early. Only registrations that are completed by 2/4/27 will be guaranteed a shirt or sweatshirt. We will try to accommodate late registrations but it is not guaranteed. Race day registration will be from 9:00-10:30 a.m. in the gym lobby. Race will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 11:59 PM ON 2/12/27 2/13/27 RACE DAY REGISTRATION ON SITE ONLY CHIP TIMING FROSTBITE 4 WEAR: A4 Dri-fit Long-sleeve Shirts or for an additional $5, Hooded Sweatshirts to all pre-registered race participants! COURSE: There will be two courses marked for both the four and two mile races. Wind direction and weather conditions will dictate which course is used. GENERAL: Bathroom and shower facilities will be available at the high school. POST-RACE EVENTS: Free chili and chicken noodle soup feed for all participants at the Bridges at Beresford Golf Course Club House, with entertainment provided for a free will offering. AWARDS: 605 Running Company of Sioux Falls will have a mobile store at this year's Frostbite 4. Once again, 605 Running Company has donated gift cards for the overall top 3 male and top 3 female finishers in the 4-mile and the 7 male and 7 female age group winners in the 4-mile. These will be presented at Bridges Golf Course after the race or by making arrangements prior to leaving with FB4 staff. $100 Gift Cards—1st place male and 1st place female in 4-mile; $75 Gift Cards—2nd place male and 2nd place female in 4-mile; $50 Gift Cards—3rd place male and 3rd place female in 4-mile; and $20 Gift Cards—1st place male and 1st place female in 4-mile for each of the 7 age groups. Age Groups: 15 and Under 16-19 20-24 25-34 35-44 45-54 55-64 And 65 and over Ceramic Frostbite Four figurines awarded to the overall male and female winners in the 2-mile and 4-mile race and to the age group winners in the 4-mile race.
