Every year, the St. Katherine Drexel Conference helps approximately 600 individuals and families, providing critical assistance when it is needed most. 🏃 RUN WILD. RUN SCENIC. The Friends of the Poor® 5K Walk/Run takes you through the natural beauty of Kings Landing Park, along the beautiful Patuxent River and through a course surrounded by woods, open meadows, wetlands and natural habitat. As you make your way around the course, keep your eyes open—you never know what local wildlife you may come across! Children ages 10 and under can participate in our fun-filled Kiddy-K, designed to encourage young runners while supporting a great cause. Awards Awards will be presented to the Overall Top Male and Female Finishers, as well as the Top Male and Female Finishers in each age division.
