Feed Fairfax 5K

Fairfax County is one of the wealthiest counties in the nation—yet thousands of children here go home on weekends unsure if they’ll have enough to eat. Rising food costs and ongoing shortages have pushed more families into crisis, and today 1 in 3 students in Fairfax County Public Schools experiences food insecurity. The 6th Annual Feed Fairfax 5K on May 2nd, 2026 is a fun 3.1 mile road race through the Greenbriar neighborhood in Fairfax. The race is organized with community partners to raise money and provide food for kids in Fairfax County suffering from food insecurity. What makes this race incredibly unique is that after the race, all participants and volunteers will have the opportunity to assemble Power Packs for elementary school children within our community.
