Fall Backyard Burn Trail Run - Lake Fairfax

Located in Reston, VA, this suburban park has a beautiful lake, huge open fields, pavilions, and an awesome trail network. Our course is almost entirely singletrack except for the prologue.  There is about 300 feet of elevation change on the 5 mile course.  While not overly technical, there are some rocks and roots to negotiate along most of the course. Race Date: Sunday October 18, 2026Course Length: 5.1 miles (1 lap) OR 10 miles (2 laps) Charity partnershipDuring registration, you will have an opportunity to support a local non-profit Homestretch. The goal of the charity partnership is to first and foremost to raise awareness of the services Homestretch provides to families in our area.  In addition, we hope to raise funds that will directly support their efforts.  Please consider making a donation when you register.
