Everyday Superhero 5K Run / Walk Connie Niemi Memorial Family 5K

Join us for the 5th Annual Everyday Superhero Connie Niemi 5K Memorial Walk/Run, a professionally timed race and meaningful community event dedicated to honoring the people we love and miss. Gabby’s Grief Center serves children, adults, and families throughout Southeast Michigan by providing compassionate grief support, education, and resources. Funds raised through this event help ensure individuals and families have a welcoming place to receive support and know they do not have to navigate grief alone. Participants may run competitively in the timed 5K or walk at their own pace in remembrance of someone special. We encourage you to bring a photo of the person you are honoring to place on a We Remember table to display proudly during the event. Come individually, gather your family and friends, or create a memorial team. Whether you are running for a personal best or walking in loving memory, every step honors a life, carries a legacy forward, and strengthens grief support across Southeast Michigan. Don't forget! You can dress as your favorite superhero! Together, we remember. Together, we heal. Together, we ensure that no one grieves alone.
