Essentia Health Iron Range Half Marathon

A first of its kind half marathon in the quad city areas of Northern Minnesota's Iron Range. The race will start with participants meeting at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center in Virginia, Minnesota the morning of August 15th. Busses will transport participants to the Mesabi Trail headquarters in Eveleth, Minnesota. The race starts in Eveleth at the trail head and continues through the beautiful North woods from Eveleth through Gilbert and into Virginia on the Mesabi Trail, including the iconic Thomas Rukavina Memorial bridge (the highest bridge in Minnesota) ending at the ITMEC.
