Escape Belle Isle 5K Run and Ruck Powered by CoStar Group

We’re excited to be heading into our third year! After an amazing start, come join us in making a positive difference in supporting our service men and women during Military Appreciation Month. With a prime downtown location, river views, and the unique experience of traversing Belle Isle, this 5K Run and Ruck is one for the books. The Escape Belle Isle 5K Run and Ruck welcomes all participants—from casual runners to competitive athletes to those looking for a meaningful rucking challenge in honor of our military. Race day is Saturday, May 2, 2026, with check‑in from 8:00–9:00 a.m., an opening ceremony at 9:15 a.m., the 5K run starting at 9:30 a.m., and the 5K ruck beginning at 9:35 a.m. The award ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the Virginia War Memorial, recognizing the top three male and female finishers in both the run and ruck categories.
