CVR Youth Running Camp 2026

Register now! This camp is limited to the first 50 registered participants.  The Cowlitz Valley Runners (CVR) are excited to host this day camp (June 24th to June 26th from 9:30 AM to Noon each day) for incoming 6th, 7th and 8th graders.  Campers will meet each day at the RA Long High School auxiliary  gym and have running events at the high school and nearby Lake Sacajawea Park. The camp will introduce kids to aerobic conditioning, proper warmups, running games and activities, racing, team building, health and nutrition, goal setting, running shoes and clothing, and more.  The focus will be on lots of movement and activities.  The camp is free!  Campers will get a t-shirt, water bottle, snacks, and a $5.00 discount to CVR's Go Fourth Mile race on July 4th (immediately before the Longview Go 4th Parade). There will be lots of prizes awarded during the camp too.  This event is free so that any eligible student can participate  regardless of his/her family's financial status. The
