Cindy Horsmon Memorial Fun Run

Event Overview The 3rd Annual Cindy Horsmon Memorial Fun Run for Hospice is set to take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Horsmon Farm in St. Leonard. The event honors the life of Cindy Greene Horsmon, a beloved retired educator and community member who passed away in 2025 at age 59 following a courageous battle with brain cancer. Cindy Horsmon dedicated 30 years to Calvert County Public Schools and was deeply loved by students, colleagues and the community. Her strength, kindness and commitment to others continue to inspire those honoring her legacy through this annual event. We are grateful for the generosity of the Horsmon family as they honor their loved one. All proceeds from the run will benefit Hospice of the Chesapeake and our Patient Family Fund. Why Participate?
