Build-N-Athlete 10K, 5K, & Kids Fun Run

The Build-N-Athlete 10K, 5K & Kids Fun Run is more than just a race—it’s an opportunity to empower young athletes and break down financial barriers to youth sports. All proceeds from this event directly support Build-N-Athlete, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing sports equipment to children in need throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. Set for Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Blakely Borough Recreational Complex, the Build-N-Athlete race returns for its second year along the scenic Lackawanna River Heritage Trail. After a successful inaugural event, runners once again have the opportunity to take on the fast and scenic 5K or 10K courses, while walkers can participate at their own pace.
