Boys and Girls Club of Greater Westfield Half Marathon

Our Half Marathon is still happening—just taking a quick jog to a new date. New Race Day: Saturday, April 11(Originally March 28)   Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield Half Marathon/5K/10K/Kids Fun Run will start at 11:00 a.m. on April 11. All runners will receive a unique medal and this year's half-marathon t-shirt! Everyone will have access to the post-race party in our gym, where results will also be posted.    The Westfield Half started in 1994 when a group of runners from the Empire One Running Club approached the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield with the idea of a half-marathon fundraiser. Since then, we have seen the Westfield Half grow from 142 runners to well over 600. In 2011, there were nearly 1,000 participants! We have also added a 10K, 5K run/walk, and a children’s race. Since that first race 30 years ago, this event has raised ~$300,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield. Race maps and info are available on the Westfield Half website
