Join us for our first EVER Annie Curtis Community Run! Railroad surveyor Amos Bowman and his beloved wife Annie Bowman (maiden name Curtis) first arrived on Fidalgo Island in 1877. Amos Bowman saw the sight as the “New York of the West” and encouraged business and industry to utilize its deep-water harbor and railroad. And what better way to celebrate their love and the special town they founded than to join us on a free community 5K route highlighting and touring beautiful downtown Anacortes!?
